Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. An author should register as user before submitting an article
  2. The manuscript should be submitted in a word processing application preferably MSWord or Rich Text Format (RTF). The language of publication is English.
  3. Tables, figures and illustrations should be kept to a minimum. They should be clear and understandable independent of the text and must be numbered consecutively. The source and titles of the various illustrations must be indicated.
  4. The title of the paper should be informative and concise. It should preferably not exceed twelve (12) words. The name, designation and affiliation of the author(s) and e-mail addresses as well as the author’s biography. The biography should not exceed 100 words.
  5. The abstract should not exceed 200 words. It should contain the scope, aim, objectives, methodology, key results and conclusions. At most five keywords should be provided.
  6. All the articles are peer reviewed by at least two reviewers. Authors may be required to revise or alter to meet as per the reviewer's reports.
  7. The authors agree to grant the ‘copyright’ to the publisher.
  8. A manuscript submitted for publication to EAJIS should not be simultaneously submitted to another journal. Manuscripts that have been published elsewhere in a substantially similar form or with substantially similar content should not be submitted to EAJIS.
  9. Authors submitting articles for publication warrant that the work is not an infringement of any existing copyright and will indemnify the publisher against any breach of such warranty. Authors are responsible for any inclusion of any copyrighted materials that need permission, including quotations of more than 300 words.
